In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Manchester United are keen on recruiting Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller. It has been stated that the Red Devils are eager to get a deal done for the German talent next year.

Stiller’s Impressive Form In The Bundesliga

Stiller has enjoyed a good run of form in the Bundesliga as he has put in a run of impressive displays for Stuttgart at the centre of the park. The 24-year-old has found the back of the net once and earned five assists in 17 matches for the German club this season in all competitions.

The German talent has protected his backline well and deserves credit for making ten tackles, nine blocks, eight interceptions and 12 clearances in the Bundesliga. He has even been careful with his ball distribution based on his pass success rate of 85.8% in the top tier of German football (stats via fbref.com).

Stiller is under contract at the German club until the summer of 2028. Thus, Man United would have to launch a big move if they want to lure him to Old Trafford next year.

Should Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim Snap Stiller Up?

Stiller is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and is a tidy passer of the ball as well.

The German sensation is primarily a holding midfielder but can also fill in as a box-to-box midfielder if asked to do so. However, it remains to be seen whether he can adapt to the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Man United manage to bring him on board next year.

Stiller would add more bite and steel to Ruben Amorim’s midfield. He has what it takes to compete for a regular starting spot at the Mancunian club in the coming years.

At 24, Stiller has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Red Devils to consider this winter or at the end of this campaign. Hence, it makes sense for Amorim to go all out to snap him up next year.
