In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Manchester United are showing interest in Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche. It has been claimed that the Red Devils are eyeing a move to acquire the services of the French wide player, but are facing competition from Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain in pursuit of him later this year.

Akliouche’s Impressive Run Of Form In Ligue 1

The 24-year-old is having a decent campaign at the French club after he put in a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. Akliouche has scored seven times and earned eight assists in 37 matches for Monaco this season across all competitions.

The French talent is currently one of the most talented wide players in Ligue 1. Hence, Man United would do well to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams later this year.

His current contract at Monaco will run out in the summer of 2028, which could open the door for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap this summer.

Should Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick Get Akliouche On Board?

Akliouche is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to engineer some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third. He can strike the ball with power from long range and can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from the wide areas.

The French sensation is primarily a right-sided wide player but can also operate as an attacking midfielder if asked to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Man United manage to snap him up later this year.

We can expect Akliouche to add more quality and depth to Michael Carrick’s attack. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the Mancunian club in the coming years.

At 24, Akliouche has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Red Devils to pursue at the end of this campaign. However, Carrick has to give him some time to adjust to life at the Mancunian club before he can get the best out of the player.
