Manchester United ended 2025 on a low as they were held to a 1-1 draw by bottom club Wolves at Old Trafford, extending their frustrations in a season already full of ups and downs.

Joshua Zirkzee put United ahead in the 27th minute with a deflected strike, giving the hosts hope of ending the year on a high. United goalkeeper Senne Lammens also kept his side in it with a string of stops, including one from Krejci and a near-own goal by Yerson Mosquera.

The draw ends Wolves’ 11-match losing streak and earns manager Rob Edwards his first point in charge, but their survival hopes remain slim, 15 points adrift of safety. For United, it was a disappointing finish to the year, leaving Ruben Amorim’s side sixth and still searching for consistency.
