Man Utd are being linked with a new goalkeeper amid concerns over Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir
Royal Antwerp appear to have accepted they will be losing Senne Lammens before the summer transfer window closes amid interest from Manchester United.
Man United are understood to be in talks with Antwerp about a move for their goalkeeper.
The Red Devils have been extremely active this summer, spending over £200million on Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko to bolster their attacking options.
Now the focus is on strengthening in between the posts with Altay Bayindir yet to convince in his two Premier League appearances so far this season.
Bayindir was selected to start against Fulham on Sunday as Andre Onana was named on the bench after recovering from an injury that saw him miss United's entire pre-season.
Both goalkeepers may be left sweating over their futures as Lammens was left out of the Antwerp squad for their 2-1 win over Mechelen.
Whether that means a definitive decision has been made remains to be seen, but Antwerp certainly did not want to risk a potential deal by selecting the 23-year-old.
Ruben Amorim was quizzed about the goalkeeping situation when facing the media after his side's 1-1 draw with Fulham on Sunday. Though he was tight-lipped about the situation.
He said: "I am focused on our goalkeepers. Like every manager I look at the amount of training, what I see in pre-season, in the games and try to decide who is the best goalkeeper to use in a game and I am going to continue to do that."
