Manchester United: Harry Maguire does not want to leave
Despite a highly lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, Harry Maguire wants to stay at Manchester United.
The English centre-back is reportedly ready to turn down a £500,000-a-week salary, provided the club offers him a new contract. According to the Daily Mirror, the 32-year-old Maguire must soon decide his future. His current contract with Manchester United expires this summer, meaning that from January he is free to negotiate with other clubs.
Saudi clubs such as Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq have reportedly shown interest in him. But the player would rather extend his stay with United, even if it means taking a lower salary than what the Saudi offer promises. Currently, Maguire earns around £190,000 a week. The new contract, if signed, would likely be for less than that amount.
