In a recent report, The Daily Mail claimed that Manchester United have identified Brighton and Hove Albion full-back Ferdi Kadioglu as a transfer target. It has been mentioned that the Red Devils are showing interest in recruiting the Turkish defender this summer.

Kadioglu’s Impressive Form In English Football

Kadioglu enjoyed a good run of form at the English club as he produced a string of impressive displays for them in the Premier League. The 26-year-old scored one goal in 42 matches for Brighton last season in various competitions.

The Turkish talent is currently one of the most versatile full-backs in the Premier League. Therefore, Man United would do well to lure him to Old Trafford this summer.

His current contract at the American Express Community Stadium will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for the Red Devils to land him on the cheap in this transfer period.

Should Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick Move In For Kadioglu?

Kadioglu is a good tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to earn possession back for his team inside his half. He usually clears the danger when the opposition are on the front foot and is a tidy passer well from the full-back positions.

The Turkish sensation can even chip in by scoring the odd goal for his team. Kadioglu is primarily a left-back but can also serve as a right-back if needed.
