Manchester United are working on a deal to sign Leicester City’s Louis Page, per BBC Sport.
United face competition from Arsenal and Aston Villa, who are both keen to sign the teenager.
Page, who is the son of former professional footballer Don Page, has impressed with his performances for Leicester’s youth teams.
He won the club’s Academy Player of the Season award at the end of the 2024-25 season.
The 18-year-old made his competitive debut against Huddersfield Town in the League Cup last August.
He has made 21 senior appearances for the Foxes, including five starts last season.
Page primarily operates as a central midfielder, but he can also function in a defensive or an attacking role.
United signed 18-year-old Tynan Thompson from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer in a deal worth £8 million.
They recently confirmed Cristian Orozco’s arrival from Colombian outfit Fortaleza FC.
They are now working on a deal to sign Page, who has been described as ‘one of the brightest talents in our system’ by Leicester.
United have been in the market for a third midfielder after signing Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos.
Page will be one for the future, as the club are expected to bring in a ready-made first-team star before the end of the summer transfer window.
