Premier League interest in Olympique Lyonnais’ Rayan Cherki (21) is growing with the opening of the transfer window nearing. As per a report from Le Progrès, Manchester United are the latest club to have joined the race.
Cherki has confirmed that he will likely leave his formative club this summer. The 21-year-old playmaker has an agreement that he can leave if a club agrees to pay €22.5m for his services and, naturally, for that fee, interest is mounting. Lyon are therefore resigned to losing the France youth international, one of the standout performers of the 2024/25 Ligue 1 campaign.
Le Parisien reported earlier this month that Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur were interested in Cherki. They have now been joined in the race by Manchester United. Unlike last summer, Paris Saint-Germain do not hold an interest in signing the OL playmaker. He had been close to joining PSG 12 months ago before the deal fell through.
