Manchester United will start their 2026/27 Premier League campaign away to newly promoted Hull City.
The match will be the second in the league’s new campaign, kicking off at 12.30pm on Saturday 22nd August.
The fixtures were released this morning and see the Red Devils face two new faces in the first two games, with a home tie against Ipswich Town coming second on August 29th.
The first big game is in gameweek 4, when noisy neighbours Manchester City come to Old Trafford.
United head coach Michael Carrick will not be too daunted by the fixture draw despite some tricky encounters.
Sandwiched in between the Ipswich and City games, United travel to Merseyside to face Everton. A trip to Craven Cottage to face Fulham rounds out the September fixtures.
October sees the Red Devils play Spurs at home, Leeds away, Bournemouth at home and Chelsea away.
After a home game against Aston Villa on 7th November, there is an international break. United come off that straight into the cauldron of Anfield where they face Andoni Iraola’s Liverpool on the 21st November. A home tie against Brentford on the 28th completes the short November run.
A packed December then sees Carrick’s men play six games; Newcastle United (A), new boys Coventry City (H), Crystal Palace (A), Arsenal (A), Nottingham Forest (H) and Sunderland (H). Forest are the opponents on Boxing Day.
The second half of the season will start with a tough run of fixtures for the Red Devils.
An away trip to Brighton is followed by Newcastle at home, Villa away then Liverpool at home on 23rd. The month ends with a tough away tie at Brentford.
A return tie against the Seagulls follows quickly in February, which also sees United face Chelsea and Arsenal at home and Forest away.
In March, United face Sunderland (A), Everton (H) and Man City (A).
If all goes to plan, United will be challenging for the title and if that happens, they couldn’t have asked for a much better sequence of fixtures in the run-in. Avoiding all the big sides, the schedule in April is Hull City (H), Ipswich Town (A) and Crystal Palace (H). May then offers Coventry City (A), Bournemouth (A), Leeds United (H), Tottenham (A) and Fulham (H), with the season finishing on the unusually late date of 30th May.
