Serie A side Atalanta could be preparing to lose another prized asset at some point in the future as Manchester United are attempting to lay down a foundation for their move for the Brazilian.

Alfredo Pedulla has told SportItalia about the situation of the midfielder, revealing that Manchester United executives were present at the Atalanta headquarters today. While the main job was related to sorting out some details in their move for Rasmus Hojlund last summer, they also asked for information for Ederson.

United like Ederson a lot and the contact made to seek information was rather cordial. Atalanta responded calmly and the relationship between the two clubs is quite good due to the previous deals involving the two.
