Leeds forward Lukas Nmecha could face his brother across the Pennines, with The Athletic reporting Manchester United have made enquiries for Felix Nmecha.
Nmecha was Leeds' first arrival last summer, joining on a free after leaving Wolfsburg. Alongside fellow free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin, he formed part of a strategy to exploit market opportunities. The pair delivered 20 Premier League goals between them, with Nmecha contributing six.
Felix, 25, made 42 appearances in midfield for Borussia Dortmund last season and extended his contract to 2030 in March. United have made enquiries this summer.
He was in Germany's World Cup squad that exited in the round of 32 to Paraguay on penalties this week. He started every game, scoring and assisting in the 7-1 win over Curacao, and supplying an assist in the 2-1 win over Ivory Coast.
The brothers began at Manchester City, reunited at Wolfsburg in 2021, then split when Felix moved to Dortmund in 2023. They have faced each other twice in the Bundesliga, with the younger sibling's side winning both. In total they have played together 28 times since their City youth days.
