Serie A side Juventus have been linked with a move for Manchester United’s Manuel Ugarte but are likely to face major problems over a move.
The Red Devils have seen the midfielder struggle since his arrival from Paris Saint-Germain. Ugarte has never managed to establish himself as a regular, also failing to make a mark under Michael Carrick in the last few weeks.
Quotidiano Sportivo talk about the Old Lady’s midfield targets and believe that the Manchester United player is an alternative to Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali. The Italian is expected to cost a lot, leading to the Bianconeri searching for other targets.
But even Ugarte is expected to cost a lot, with Manchester United demanding around €50 million to let him depart. This is likely to cause problems to Juve, had reportedly scouted the Uruguay international in his nation’s friendly against Algeria last week in Turin.
As things stand, a move for the ex-Sporting player remains difficult, with Juve having previously kept a close eye on Ugarte in the past too.
