Manchester United are reportedly keen on a double move for Bayern Munich pair Leon Goretzka and Leroy Sane in 2025.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the Reds are keen on signing more players from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, including Leon Goretzka and Leroy Sane.

The Germany duo could be in the market given their developing situations in Bavaria, with Old Trafford becoming a possible destination for both players.

These are two experienced players who could improve United’s results on the pitch, making the team more solid in midfield and dangerous in attack. Erik ten Hag has already identified the lack of goals as being United’s biggest issue right now.

The manager needs better results in order to keep his job. Otherwise, these new signings could be coming to play under a different manager but we haven’t reached that point yet. INEOS are still backing Ten Hag to get it right at United and we hope he succeeds.

It’s unlikely Manchester United will get German duo

Goretzka has been on United’s radar for some time but he has never been tempted to move to Old Trafford. Only time will tell if that can change, especially if United finally cash in on Casemiro.

On the other hand, Sane has been linked with a move to several Premier League clubs in recent months. There are still talks ongoing regarding a new deal for the former Man City star at Bayern, although it’s worth noting his deal expires next summer.

I personally feel this is one of those stories that tends to float around during or after an international break when people are desperate for a new angle.

There’s nothing in it until a decision has been made on their futures.

Goretzka and Sane could both be playing for Bayern Munich next year and beyond.

Plettenberg adds that it is possible that United will strengthen their squad in the winter, but I highly doubt one of those players will be on the move out of Bayern in January.
