As Newcastle United fans and indeed the fans of other clubs, we have so much to thank Sir Jim Ratcliffe for.

Since sticking his snout in the Old Trafford trough alongside his friends the Glazers, he has turned Manchester United into even more of a laughing stock.

An absolute disgrace of course that the worse he runs Manchester United and the more disastrous the club is on and off the pitch, Ratcliffe reacts by taking away the jobs of ever more low paid staff.

Apart from that though, the footballing world has so much to thanks the shameless Sir Jim Ratcliffe for.

I remember how so many Manchester United fans were amongst those mocking Newcastle United fans for celebrating ‘too much’ after winning the League Cup and especially, NUFC organising an open top bus parade for a celebration in our city.

Well, Sir Jim Ratcliffe wouldn’t be outdone.

So today, Manchester United organised an open top bus parade in front of their adoring fans, celebrating avoiding relegation and ending up fifteenth in the Premier League, winning only 11 of 38 Premier League matches and 42 points off winning the title. Whilst only Everton of the teams that weren’t relegated, scored less goals than Manchester United.

Enjoy (make sure the sound is on!!) the celebration Manchester United open top bus parade around Kuala Lumpur!

Just look at the players’ faces!

The Manchester United superstars then went on to lose 1-0 in front of their fans, the ASEAN All-Stars winning thanks to a Muang Muang Lwin goal.

Here’s hoping Sir Jim Ratcliffe organises many more of these very special Manchester United open top bus parades in the future!
