Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Turkish club Eyupspor for the loan transfer of Tyrell Malacia.
The 26-year-old joined United from Feyenoord in 2022 for an initial £13 million fee. But he has been unable to establish himself as a first-team starter due to form and fitness issues.
Malacia only made four appearances for the Red Devils last season before spending the second half of the campaign on loan with PSV Eindhoven.
United made it clear the Dutchman would not be part of Ruben Amorim’s plans when he returned and told him to train away from the first-team group.
Malacia had been linked with a move to Spanish club Elche, but a transfer did not materialise.
Journalist Resat Can Ozbudak claims the left-back is poised to move to Turkey.
United have completed a major squad overhaul this summer, signing Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, Diego Leon and Senne Lammens.
They also wanted to reinforce their midfield, but a lack of funds prevented them from completing a move for Brighton & Hove Albion’s Carlos Baleba.
United got rid of several under-performing, overpaid stars, including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony.
Alejandro Garnacho completed a permanent transfer to Chelsea, while Lammens’ arrival resulted in Andre Onana moving to Trabzonspor on a season-long loan.
