Manchester United ready to offer €50m for Real Madrid midfielder | OneFootball

Real Madrid are likely to have a very quiet end to the summer transfer window, having done almost all of their required business. They had wanted to pursue a top-level midfielder addition, but after missing out on Enzo Fernandez and Rodri, they decided to proceed with what they have – although they could now be forced to re-enter the market.

As things stand, Real Madrid will only make another signing if someone leaves. Jose Mourinho is very happy with the business that has been done, but a possible exit opportunity has opened up in the last few days, which could force the club to seek a replacement.

Eduardo Camavinga is one of two players (alongside Raul Asencio) in Mourinho’s squad that is considered to be most dispensable, which is why Real Madrid are willing to entertain offers for the France international. One could arrive from Manchester United, with Cadena SER reporting that the Premier League giants are ready to make a move before the summer transfer window closes.

Man United sense an opportunity with Camavinga

Man United had previously shown interest in Aurelien Tchouameni, but after his future was confirmed by the way of a new long-term contract, attention has now turned to Camavinga. An offer of €50m is reportedly being readied, which could be enough for Real Madrid to part ways with a player that is not considered a key part of Mourinho’s plans – although he has featured in each of Los Blancos’ opening two matches of the 2026-27 season, albeit as a substitute.

The likelihood is that it’s too late in the summer for Real Madrid to be willing to sell Camavinga, given they would not have enough time to sort an acceptable replacement. Had Man United come calling a few weeks prior, things could have been very different, but right now, it would be a surprise if any bids were considered by those at Valdebebas.
