The youngster is set to be trusted in the league with the focus on Europe
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is ready to give Chido Obi more minutes in the final games of the Premier League season.
United on Thursday kept their season alive with a remarkable 7-6 aggregate win over Lyon to reach the Europa League quarter-finals, and now face Wolves back in domestic action on Sunday.
Wolves sit 16th in the league, just three points behind United, but Amorim is ready to give his younger talents a chance to impress in the final six games of the domestic season with nothing but pride on the line.
"Players like [Diogo] Dalot, they are always ready but today he was really tired," he told reporters after beating Lyon. “The guys that are at risk to have an injury, we will try to save them. We will see [before the weekend].
"It's not the best moment or the best season to put some kids to play because again they need a strong base to really show what they can do, but in this moment we need to do it and sometimes you have surprises.
"Ayden [Heaven] just played, I can be honest, because we had a lot of injuries in that moment. But today I think of Ayden as my player, so when he's ready he's facing competition in the team and he's ready to play, so you don't know.
"[Harry] Amass did really well today, so we don't know. Chido [Obi] when he played he played quite well. It's a difficult moment, it's not the right moment for the kids to play, but if we have to do it we will do it."

Wolves have won four league matches on the spin to end all threat of relegation and Amorim has been impressed by Vitor Pereira's impact since his appointment - and reserved special praise for reported transfer target Matheus Cunha.
"I think he's doing an amazing job," Amorim said of Pereira. "He's playing a 3-4-3, he's doing quite well! He's changing some players, he has real quality players - Cunha and all these guys, they have real quality. They are fresh.
"So we know it's going to be a tough match and we are going to need a lot from our supporters. I know it is a bad thing to ask anything this season from our fans but we need them on Sunday."
