Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to watch DC United midfielder Luciano Acosta and are weighing up a potential bid this summer.
Acosta was due to move to Paris Saint-Germain in the January window but a deal fell through at the last moment with Thomas Tuchel’s side opting for Leandro Paredes instead.
But the DC star has kept attracting some serious attention, with a story in the American press claiming that United have sent their representatives to assess the Argentine.
The Athletic claim that Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s men are pondering whether to make a move for the 24-year-old who could cost as little as €12m.
Wayne Roonery has already lavishly praised Acosta, admitting earlier this year that he was “destined to play for a top club”.
