Benjamin Sesko and Harry Maguire, as expected, will not be available for selection against West Ham.

The pair could yet be joined on the sidelines by two more team-mates, though there is a mystery surrounding the identity of the doubts as Amorim has refused to name them.

When providing the latest Man Utd team news on Wednesday, Amorim said: "We have two doubts for the game.

"I will not tell you today because we will change the way we are going to approach [the game].

"Let's see if they can play tomorrow.

"The rest of the squad is good. Matheus [Cunha] is good.

"Harry Maguire and Sesko [are out]."

With Amorim implying the two players are key to his gameplan against Hammers, speculation has been rife on social media as to who the fitness doubts are.

On X, formerly Twitter, many United fans are adamant that captain Bruno Fernandes is one of the names in question after the midfielder was spotted clutching his hamstring against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Amorim did move to allay fears of an injury after the game, telling TNT Sports: "It was a kick. I was shouting at him, we made a substitution in the end. He needed to talk to the bench but he said it was just a kick so everything is okay."

The Man Utd team to face West Ham will be announced at 6.45pm GMT on Thursday ahead of kick-off at 8pm.

With Amorim remaining tight-lipped, only then will it become clear as to who the players in question are.
