According to Sky Germany, Manchester United are targeting two Bundesliga strikers as they look to reinforce their attacking options under Ruben Amorim.
Despite boasting the likes of Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee, it is understood that the Red Devils believe that they need to bolster their forward line, with both strikers having just regoistered one goal each this season.
As stated in the report, Amorin is expected to evaluate his options before the start of the January transfer window, and the Premier League outfit already have a few transfer targets in mind.
Victor Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani are two names being discussed with a move to Old Trafford, but the transfer links do not stop there.
Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush are also said to be on United’s shortlist.
While Boniface is currently sidelined with injury, the Nigerian international played a key role for Die Werkself last season, with his importance to the side’s success often flying under the radar.
Should United look to lure him away from the BayArena, then they will need to offload a significant fee to Leverkusen, with Boniface’s deal not being set to expire until 2028.
As for Marmoush, the Egyptian international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, most notably Liverpool.
However, should the Red Devils offer Die Adler a fee within the region of €50-€60 million, then Frankfurt may be tempted to cash in.
Regardless, whether a move is made in the winter window is still unclear, but both sides will have to show resilience if they are to keep their star strikers beyond the summer.
