Manchester United, Tottenham and Fiorentina reportedly monitoring Freiburg forward

Could a move involving Freiburg forward Igor Matanović be on the cards before the transfer window closes?

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 23-year-old Croatia international is being monitored by Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Fiorentina.

The report claims that Fiorentina sporting director Fabio Paratici sees Matanović as a potential replacement for Moise Kean, who is set to join Como, but notes that the Italian side faces significant competition from both Tottenham and Manchester United.

Matanović joined Freiburg from Eintracht Frankfurt for a reported €6.7 million fee in the summer of 2025.

Since arriving at the Europa-Park Stadion, the striker has scored 18 goals in 53 appearances for the Breisgau outfit.
