Ahead of Manchester United vs PSG, SheKicks selects our combined XI as the women’s Champions League heads to Old Trafford for the first time.
United host PSG on Wednesday night in their biggest game of the season so far.
The Parisians come into matchday three without a point in the Champions League, and United will be no easy task on foreign soil.
Marc Skinner’s team have won both of their games so far and are rolling in Europe coming into the clash
Below, SheKicks selects a Manchester United vs PSG combined XI based on current form.
Manchester United are yet to concede in the Champions League this season and a large part of that is due to their number one.
Phallon Tullis-Joyce has saved seven shots in her two games so far as United remain the only club to have not conceded in the competition.
The American just pips former United goalkeeper Mary Earps to this position with her league form also impressing.
Although she is a defender, Anna Sandberg has given Manchester United another dimension in attack this season.
The Swedish full back is averaging 1.54 key passes and 5.05 crosses per game this year and she has already picked up a goal and an assist from defence.
Sandberg only just gets into the PSG vs Manchester United combined XI ahead of Spain’s Olga Carmona with the Swede’s consistency in Europe giving her the edge.
United captain Maya Le Tissier is continuing to prove that she is one of the best defenders in the world after an impressive start to the year.
The centre back has been dribbled past less than once per game on average this season – a league best for her position.
Le Tissier is on a remarkable run of 76 consecutive starts for United which is a record for the club.
The only complaint Le Tissier can have this season is her lack of minutes at centre back in the England setup, with Sarina Wiegman choosing to use the defender as a fullback instead.
PSG centre back Griedge Mbock Bathy has been a rock in defence for the French side this season.
The 30-year-old is averaging 2.75 tackles and 2.00 clearances per game for the Parisians in 2025, ranking her as one of the highest performing defenders in France.
Mbock Bathy has asserted herself as one of her national team’s best defenders over the past two years and she is now one of the first names on the teamsheet for both club and country.
Although she only joined the club at the start of this season, Isabela has already made a huge impact for PSG.
The full back has been a revelation since arriving with 81.1% pass accuracy and 18 duels won – a league high for her position.
Despite no goal contributions to start the campaign, Isabela has proved her importance to the PSG attack which gives her a slight advantage over Jade Riviere of United.
Much like Le Tissier for United, PSG captain Sakina Karchaoui has proved to be irreplaceable for her team once again this season.
The midfielder is averaging 2.04 key passes per game in the Première Ligue and she has already picked up two goals and an assist in her five games.
Through two Champions League games so far she has averaged a pass completion rate of 85.5%.
Again this season Karchaoui is showing her versatility, with the vastly experienced 29-year-old playing various roles in defence, midfield and attack for both club and country.
Jess Park has completely changed the Manchester United midfield since she arrived at the club in summer.
The bright English star has already picked up four goals and two assists in the WSL on the way to earning her first player of the month award in October.
Park is without a doubt one of the best young talents in the world right now and after an impressive European debut she is sure to be at the core of United’s creative spark against PSG.
Japanese midfielder Hinata Miyazawa is one of the most hard working midfielders in Europe.
Miyazawa has scored one goal this season and her first of the season against Liverpool was voted goal of the month for Ocotber.
The 25-year-old plays more of defensive position though and her 90% pass accuracy is made all the more impressive considering how much of the ball she gets.
The Manchester United attack is humming this season and a large part of that is due to the arrival of Fridolina Rolfo.
The versatile Swedish forward is averaging 1.25 key passes per 90 minutes, and she has an expected assists total per 90 of 0.24 – ranking her amongst the best in the WSL.
The 32-year-old has added another dimension to the United attack in 2025 and she has already scored her first goal in Europe with a crucial winner against Atletico Madrid.
PSG striker Romee Leuchter has been a revelation this season for her club with two goals and two assists in her four league appearances.
Leuchter has only been given 46 minutes in the Champions League this season and will be hoping for her first start against United.
The Dutch forward beats Elisabeth Terland to the striker spot as she struggles for consistency.
French forward Melvine Malard has been flying for United this season and she currently leads the WSL golden boot race with five goals this season.
There aren’t many players in the world that have a higher scoring average than Malard who is scoring 0.89 goals per game or the Red Devils.
After joining in the club in 2024, Malard is now settled into the team and has developed into one of the best form players in the WSL.
