Manchester United is looking to extend Kobbie Mainoo's contract and remains confident about the outcome of upcoming talks.

At just 20, the midfielder has gradually established himself in the first team, especially since Michael Carrick took over as manager. This season, he’s featured in 20 Premier League matches, including eight starts, and has provided two assists.

Although no negotiations have started yet, United’s management is planning to open talks in the coming months. Mainoo’s current contract with Manchester United runs until 2027, with an option for an additional year.
