Manchester United travel to the London Stadium on Tuesday, aiming for their fifth consecutive Premier League victory.
The Red Devils have moved into fourth place under the leadership of Michael Carrick. United recently defeated Tottenham 2–0 to maintain their grip on a Champions League spot. Carrick has transformed the attack, with the team scoring at least twice in every game he has managed. A victory tonight would move United three points clear of fifth-placed Chelsea.
Michael Carrick manages a squad still missing several senior defensive options. Notably, Matthijs de Ligt, Mason Mount, and Patrick Dorgu are all ruled out. Consequently, Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martínez will continue their partnership in defence. Bruno Fernandes remains the focal point of the team. He currently has eight away assists this season, equaling Ryan Giggs’s club record.
Senne Lammens will start in goal after keeping a clean sheet against Tottenham. Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw will occupy the full-back positions. In midfield, Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo will anchor the side. Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo will provide the threat from wide areas. Matheus Cunha is expected to lead the line as he seeks his first goal against West Ham.
Manchester United predicted XI: Lammens; Dalot, Martinez, Maguire, Shaw; Mainoo, Casemiro; Diallo, B. Fernandes, Mbeumo; Cunha
