Ruben Amorim hopeful of fitness boost for final game of 2025
Mount had to be substituted in the 1-0 Boxing Day win over Newcastle after complaining of muscle tightness.
United have been assessing Mount but Ruben Amorim hopes the issue is nothing serious.

Amorim will again be without Bruno Fernandes for the visit Wolves, despite the club captain asking to return to training ahead of schedule.
Fernandes remains sidelined with a hamstring injury but has asked to return to training just a week after picking up the complaint.
“Bruno was already saying that he needs to train, but we don't know,” Amorim said straight after the Newcastle game. "No chance he is going to play against Wolves, no chance.”
Kobbie Mainoo, Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire remain sidelined.
Amorim said: "Kobbie Mainoo is going to start on the [training] pitch also, so we will see. Matthijs is struggling a little bit. Harry the same thing.
"I think Kobbie is not going to be ready. Bruno is not going to be ready. I think Matt is not going to be ready. Harry is not going to be ready. So, I think we are not going to have more players.”
United are also without Noussair Mazraoui, Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo due to the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
Amorim switched to a 4-3-3 system against Newcastle and is likely to stick with that formation. If Mount is not fit, Jack Fletcher could start in midfield alongside Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro.
Patrick Dorgu could play alongside Mattheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko in the front three.
Predicted Manchester United XI: Lammens; Dalot, Heaven, Martinez, Shaw; Fletcher, Ugarte, Casemiro; Dorgu, Sesko, Cunha

Unavailable: Amad, Mbeuno, Mazraoui
