Manchester United goalkeeper Earps has enjoyed a hugely successful year for club and country. The 30-year-old was a Barclays Women’s Super League runner-up with The Red Devils last season while she helped the club to reach a first Adobe Women’s FA Cup final. On the international stage, Earps was a FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 runner-up with England while she won the Arnold Clark Cup and inaugural Women’s Finalissima with her country.

Earps’ personal accolades include winning the Golden Glove both in last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League and at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023. She was also recently named England Women’s Player of the Year.

Australian international goalkeeper Arnold has been one of West Ham United’s top-performing players. She has brought her quality to the team along with a calming influence. In the summer, Arnold helped Australia to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup semi-finals for the first time after starring in a penalty shootout victory over France in the quarter-finals.

Earps and Arnold will go up against FC Barcelona and Spain’s Catalina Coll for the right to become the world’s best female goalkeeper.

All the winners of The Best FIFA Football Awards 2023 will be crowned at a special ceremony on Monday 15 January 2024 in London.
