After Roma’s great 2-0 victory against Verona and the Giallorossi’s return to the Champions League, Mancini made some comments to DAZN microphones during the post-match.

“There’s definitely a lot of euphoria. It’s a team victory. We told ourselves that, even when they thought we were done for. The coach said he believed in us. We’re a tough team.”

“Dedication and the desire to follow the coach brought us here. We made it to the final push well. Pellegrini, Cristante, and Celik have heard all sorts of things, but we always kept our love for the jersey alive.”

“My heart is racing. I feel like crying, but I won’t. A warning? We needed to raise the bar. We’ve felt the pressure, but this year the feeling was always super positive about how we trained, played, and responded to defeats. The best match of the season was in Parma.”
