An own goal from Aissa Mandi handed Atletico Madrid a point as they drew 2-2 with Villarreal at the Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday night.
Arnaut Danjuma had put Villarreal 2-1 up after 74 minutes, but Mandi's last-gasp own goal meant that the home side escaped with a draw.
It was the away side who took the lead against the run of play after 52 minutes, as Yeremy Pino fed Manu Trigueros on the edge of the area to rifle home an unstoppable effort past Jan Oblak.
Atletico replied immediately however, as Angel Correa picked out an unmarked Luis Suarez to slot home on his return to the starting XI.
Villarreal restored the lead with a quarter of an hour remaining, as Pino found Danjuma in the penalty area with a perfectly-weighted pass, before the Dutchman rifled the ball into the roof of the net.
With just seconds remaining, a hopeful ball forward from Saul Niguez was headed back towards goal by Mandi, but it bounced in beyond Rulli's despairing dive, as Atletico Madrid salvaged a point.
