West Ham United want to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon, but the move has stalled.

According to David Ornstein, the Hammers and Spurs have failed to reach an agreement over the structure of a potential transfer.

West Ham remain keen to strengthen their attacking options ahead of their first Championship campaign in 14 years.

However, negotiations have broken down over promotion-related bonuses rather than the initial transfer fee.

West Ham value the 27-year-old at around £5 million, but are unwilling to meet Tottenham’s demands for additional payments if they immediately return to the Premier League.

With neither side prepared to compromise, talks are currently on hold. The delay leaves the door open for rival suitors to make their move.

Fiorentina remain interested in bringing Solomon back to Serie A after his loan spell last season, although the Italian club are also yet to meet Tottenham’s valuation.

He registered three goals and six assists during his time in Florence.

For Spurs, Solomon is one of several players who could depart before the transfer window closes as the club reshapes its squad.

Signed on a free transfer in 2023, the Israeli international struggled for opportunities after suffering a serious knee injury that curtailed his debut campaign in north London.

His stock has risen considerably since then thanks to productive loan spells in England, Spain, and Italy. However, the Serie A side opted against activating their option to buy.

West Ham remain in the market for proven attacking quality as they target an immediate return to the top flight even though they have been slow to get going.

Solomon fits the profile of an experienced winger capable of making a decisive impact in the Championship.

Unless Tottenham soften their stance on promotion bonuses, however, the deal with West Ham appears destined to remain at a standstill for now.
