Manu Koné scored twice in the first half for AS Roma against Inter Milan on Saturday in the Serie A matchday five clash. The 25-year-old France international started in midfield.
Goals have not often defined his game, until now. Within half an hour he equalled his tally from each of the previous two seasons in the Italian capital, and L'Équipe has published the video of both finishes.
He opened the scoring in the sixth minute, volleying after left wing-back Nahuel Molina headed a Paulo Dybala cross back across goal at the far post.
A second arrived from another Dybala delivery from the right. Gianluca Mancini got a touch and Koné converted first time with his left from close range.
VAR took its time checking the second strike, then the goal was awarded.
