Manu Vallejo and AD Ceuta FC have agreed to terminate his deal, which had been due to run until the end of the season. The club said in a statement that he will not continue and thanked him for his professionalism, wishing him well for the future.
His stint in Ceuta proved underwhelming. Arriving with the billing of a key addition, he never settled or became decisive.
Lack of rhythm and confidence limited his impact, and the greater contribution the club anticipated did not materialise. The chapter ends quietly, leaving a sense of a missed opportunity on both sides.
He featured in only four of the 23 league matchdays this season.
Vallejo first broke through in La Liga with Cádiz, earning a move to Valencia, where he enjoyed his highest profile without nailing down a starting role. He later spent time on loan at Deportivo Alavés, then joined Girona, with further loans to Real Oviedo and Real Zaragoza in the second tier.
After parting ways with Girona he signed for Racing de Ferrol, before most recently joining AD Ceuta FC for 2025/26.
