Manuel Neuer is set to make his 23rd World Cup start when Germany face Paraguay in Monday’s round of 32 clash.

In doing so, the 40-year-old will set a new national record for World Cup starts, moving clear of both Lothar Matthäus and Miroslav Klose, who are tied on 22.
