In an interview with Sport, Kumbulla remarked, “In Serie A there are many quality defenders and I have learned a lot from them, the tactics I learned in Italy are also helping me in Spain.”

“The knee injury with Roma was the worst moment of my career, but thanks to the help of my family and the psychologist everything went well and now I feel completely recovered. I stopped thinking about it.”

“When I heard about Edoardo [Bove] I got scared. It wasn’t easy because we are great friends. I spoke to his family because he is in the hospital and they told me he is getting better. I send him a big hug from here.”
