Germany coach Hansi Flick today announced his squad for the forthcoming fixtures against Hungary and England in the UEFA Nations League. Marc-André ter Stegen, Matthias Ginter and Robin Gosens all return to the squad but there’s also a new face.
Southampton central-defender Armel Bella-Kotchap (20) has been awarded his first call-up to the German national team that has seen the former Bochum player play five out of Southampton’s six Premier League games so far this season. Germany squad in full:
Defenders: Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid), David Raum (RB Leipzig), Thilo Kehrer (West Ham), Niklas Süle (Borussia Dortmund), Matthias Ginter (Freiburg), Robin Gosens (Inter), Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund), Armel Bella-Kotchap (Southampton).
Attackers: Kai Havertz (Chelsea), Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund), Timo Werner (RB Leipzig), Serge Gnabry (Bayern Munich), Lukas Nmecha (Wolfsburg), Thomas Müller (Bayern Munich), Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich).
