Marc Cucurella ‘to leave’ Chelsea, Barcelona favourites as Flamengo assess left-back market | OneFootball

Flamengo are prioritising a left-back and Marc Cucurella has emerged as a potential option, with the Spaniard keen to leave Chelsea.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Cucurella feels his cycle at the English club is over, with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid interested, the Catalans seen as favourites.

Even so, his price appears beyond Flamengo’s budget. The club’s record outlay is 42 million euros, about R$ 260 million, on Lucas Paquetá. Cucurella is valued at 50 million euros, roughly R$ 300 million.

Flamengo have also sounded out Cruzeiro left-back Kaiki. The 23-year-old is contracted until the end of 2027 and is valued at 14 million euros, around R$ 84 million.

Cucurella faced Flamengo at the 2025 Club World Cup group stage. The Brazilian side beat Chelsea 3-1 after falling behind, and the full-back struggled against Gonzalo Plata.
