Bild reports that Hertha Berlin defenders Marc-Oliver Kempf and Filip Uremovic could both leave the club before Friday’s transfer deadline.
Kempf has attracted interest from Augsburg but no offer for the 28-year-old has yet to arrive. Kempf has Bundesliga experience and would be a welcomed addition to boost a team’s defence that is likely to be fighting relegation this season.
While for Uremovic, the 26-year-old was left out of Hertha’s squad against Greuther Fürth and was made to train by himself on Sunday. Uremovic has already held conversations with Pal Dardai where a likely move away from the club was discussed. It is likely that if Uremovic is able to leave the club before the deadline he will head abroad.
Kempf and Uremovic are the next group of players a part of the exodus of Hertha. Already this summer Jessic Ngankam (Eintracht Frankfurt), Lucas Tousart (Union Berlin) Marco Richter (Mainz), Dodi Lukebakio (Sevilla), Oliver Christensen (Fiorentina) and Suat Serdar (Hellas Verona) have all left the club 2.Bundesliga club for pastures new.
