Marcelo has returned to Fluminense in Brazil’s top-flight after a storied career in European football.
The 34-year-old made 386 appearances for Real Madrid, winning a staggering total of 25 trophies across the 15 years at the club.
Now he goes back to where it all began at his boyhood club.
After a short stint with Greek giants Olympiacos, he returns on a free transfer, where he made 30 appearances between 2005-2007.
Fluminense currently find themselves in the midst of Rio’s Taça Guanabara, but will be keeping one eye on the Série A season that is set to kick off in the spring.
