MARCO LIBRA ALVARADO CALLED UP BY VENEZUELA | OneFootball

Following an outstanding season which culminated in a place in the Primavera Scudetto semi-finals, the first individual recognition has arrived for Bologna’s youth sector.

Marco Libra Alvarado, born in 2008 and with Bologna since 2021, has been called up by Venezuela for the upcoming international friendlies against Turkey and Iraq, scheduled for Saturday 6 June in Miami and Tuesday 9 June in Chicago, respectively.

The call-up is a source of great pride for the entire Youth Sector, further confirming the excellent work carried out throughout the season. Libra was one of eight players promoted to the Primavera squad by Stefano Morrone after spending the first half of the campaign spent with Luigi Della Rocca’s Under-18 side, for whom he made six appearances.

With the Under-20 team, meanwhile, the young Rossoblù talent made a total of 22 appearances, including those in the post-season campaign that ended with last Sunday’s semi-final at Viola Park.
