Marcus Rashford’s Barcelona spell ended this afternoon after the club chose not to activate the 40 million purchase option. According to Superdeporte, the 28-year-old now returns to Manchester United under Michael Carrick.

He played 49 matches this season, contributing 14 goals and 14 assists.

Rashford also featured in Barcelona’s triumphs in the league and the Spanish Super Cup.
