Many of the current FC Barcelona players will be facing Chelsea for the first time in their careers, but Marcus Rashford is no stranger to the Blues. Having spent his entire career in England before joining Barcelona this season, the English forward has faced Chelsea on numerous occasions.

Rashford has had some excellent seasons with Manchester United, so it is no surprise he has scored against almost every English opponent. If you spend that many years in a single league, it is bound to happen.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Marcus Rashford, who is now fully fit, returns to Stamford Bridge with Barcelona to face his favourite rivals, Chelsea, against whom he has his highest number of goal contributions.

Across all competitions, Rashford has scored six goals and provided five assists against Chelsea, matching his tally against Newcastle United, who have conceded seven goals and four assists from him. He will be eager to add to that record when he takes the field for Barcelona tonight.

Any ardent English football fan will remember the stunning free-kick Rashford scored against Chelsea in 2019 in the Round of 16 of the Carabao Cup. To this day, it remains one of the best free-kicks in recent history.

His performances against Chelsea continued last season when he spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Aston Villa, providing two assists in a victory over the Blues.

Rashford has made a strong start at Barcelona, scoring twice in the opening Champions League match against Newcastle. In 16 appearances across all competitions this season, he has contributed six goals and nine assists, including four goals and two assists in the Champions League.

Everything points to the Englishman relishing the opportunity to return to Stamford Bridge, and let us hope he has an excellent game and helps Barcelona win in a familiar atmosphere.
