Marcus Rashford reveals Robert Lewandowski’s crucial half-time advice vs Eintracht | OneFootball

Barcelona star Marcus Rashford has revealed that a piece of advice sent the way of he and his teammates by Robert Lewandowski on Tuesday proved key in their eventual victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Barcelona are of course fresh off a much-needed return to winning ways on the continent yesterday evening.

After welcoming Bundesliga outfit Eintracht to Catalunya’s capital for a Champions League clash, the Blaugrana recovered from a goal down to ultimately emerge on the right side of a 2-1 result.

Both of the goals netted by Hansi Flick’s troops came courtesy of headers on the part of surprise match-winner Jules Koundé.

And the creator of the first has since revealed that some advice provided by Robert Lewandowski proved crucial en route to as much.

Speaking to the media at the Camp Nou in the aftermath of his side’s victory, Marcus Rashford explained:

“Lewandowski is a player with great experience. He told me during half-time that we should try more crosses, and that’s how the goals came, so it was good advice.”
