The 19-year-old played in several youth teams and gained experience in competitive women's football at an early age. After starting out in the junior ranks, she played for DJK Ingolstadt, among others, before moving to 1. FC Nürnberg for the first time as an U17. After a spell with Eintracht Frankfurt's second team, she returned to Nürnberg in 2023. There, she played in both the Women's Bundesliga 2 and the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga in recent seasons and was promoted to the Bundesliga twice with the club. Scholz has made a total of 40 appearances in the two Bundesliga divisions for FCN. She has also played for the Germany U15, U16, U17 and U19 youth women's national teams in the past. Marina Scholz emphasises: ‘’I decided to make the move because I am looking for a new challenge and I really like the environment and structures here. That’s why I want to help the club achieve its goals and continue to develop myself.”
