According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Boca Juniors’ move for Marino Hinestroza has stalled, with talks paused after written terms from Colombia diverged from what had been agreed verbally.
The main sticking point is a transfer clause sent by Atlético Nacional. The Colombian club want to keep 20 per cent of any future sale, while Boca understood that share would be calculated only on the capital gain, not the full fee. That technical shift would significantly change the sums involved.
Boca are unwilling to accept those terms without fresh negotiation, given the multimillion difference between a share of a future sale and a cut of capital gain.
There is also a demand from the player’s camp. Hinestroza’s representatives have asked the clubs to cover the entire eight per cent in statutory charges and player-related percentages, a common flashpoint in international deals. Atlético Nacional have not altered the document so far.
The Colombian winger wants to join Boca, though Atlético Nacional president Sebastián Arango has said the transfer is not yet closed. Negotiations remain open and depend on agreement over the fine print. Boca president Juan Román Riquelme has praised Hinestroza as technically very good and quick, adding that he sees many qualities in him.
