Jorge left Flamengo soon after winning the 2024 Under-20 Copa Libertadores, coming from behind against Boca Juniors in the final. He then received an offer to take charge of Saudi Arabia under-17s.

With Jorge moving abroad, Filipe Luís was promoted from Flamengo under-17s to the under-20s. The former left-back took over the Libertadores holders and won the Club World Cup.

Jorge now takes over with Trofense in the lower reaches of the Portuguese third division. After five rounds, they have four points and sit eighth in a 10-team section.
