Marquinhos rested as PSG face Vendée Fontenay Foot in Coupe de France last 64

PSG have rested captain Marquinhos for their Coupe de France last 64 tie against Vendée Fontenay Foot. According to L'Équipe, the Brazilian is not in the squad travelling to Nantes.

The match will be played at La Beaujoire on Saturday, with kick-off at 21:00. Willian Pacho is also being rested, with injuries and Africa Cup of Nations departures adding to the absences.

To compensate, Luis Enrique has drafted in several youngsters. Noah Kamara, David Boly, Noah Nsoki and Mathis Jangeal, usually with the U19s in the Youth League, are included.

They could receive minutes against the National 3 side. Vendée Fontenay Foot knocked out Châteauroux, from National, in the previous round.

PSG’s reshaped squad will take on their lower-league opponents in this round.
