Marseille agree €25m deal with Leverkusen for Facundo Medina

Olympique de Marseille have accepted a €25m offer from Leverkusen for 27-year-old Facundo Medina, according to L'Équipe.

The package is €23m plus €2m in bonuses. The sale is expected to ease the club's finances.

Medina already has an agreement with the German club and is expected to sign a contract of around five years once his holidays end.

Leverkusen made an initial offer in recent days that was rejected, before returning with a second bid that was accepted.

The former Lens defender arrived last summer.
