Nicolò Fagioli (23) could be set for a January transfer to Ligue 1 with arch-rivals Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain both competing for this signature, according to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Fagioli had been touted as a potential makeweight in the deal that could see Milan Skrianiar, out of favour at PSG, move to Juventus. However, this rumour was shut down by Fabrizio Romano. The journalist reported at the time that the Serie A side were not looking to offload the midfielder, but with Fagioli used infrequently at club level, he could now depart, La Gazzetta dello Sport understands.
Should he leave, he is not short of suitors. Marseille are particularly keen with Roberto De Zerbi a big admirer of the midfielder whilst the link with a move to PSG has also re-emerged in La Gazzetta dello Sport’s latest report. However, there is also interest from the Premier League with Juventus valuing the Italian midfielder between €25-30m.
