According to a report from Foot Mercato, Marseille are interested in signing Sacha Boey (24) from Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window. The Ligue 1 club are hoping to sign the Frenchman on loan with an option to buy.

Despite OM hoping for a temporary solution, the Bundesliga champions are only interested in opening negotiations over a permanent transfer. For the moment, Boey sees himself remaining in Germany and fighting for his place in Vincent Kompany’s squad rather than leaving. However, it remains to be seen whether the right challenge will encourage him to make a move.

Les Phocéens are not the only club showing an interest in the 24-year-old defender. Foot Mercato understands several English clubs are also considering a potential move for the Bayern full-back. Boey previously played for Galatasaray, and the Turkish club have also been linked with a potential swoop for the former France youth international.
