Marseille, Leeds and Brighton interested in signing Feyenoord’s Igor Paixão | OneFootball

According to Foot Mercato, Marseille are one of several clubs interested in signing Feyenoord winger Igor Paixão (24) during the summer transfer window. The Brazilian is valued at €40m by the Eredivisie club, with several clubs circling with the ambition of acquiring his services.

Leeds United, Brighton and Napoli have also enquired about a potential move for Paixão. The Feyenoord attacker has excelled this season, scoring 16 goals and registering 10 assists in 34 league appearances. With such performances, a move away from the Netherlands looks likely this summer.

Les Olympiens are yet to submit a former offer to the Rotterdam club over a potential transfer. However, Paixão is highty regarded internally at the Stade Vélodrome and this admiration could materialise into a formal offer as Marseille prepare to play UEFA Champions League football next season and look for a replacement for Inter-bound Luis Henrique.
