Marseille are in need of a No. 1 goalkeeper after agreeing to part ways with Geronimo Rulli (34). The Argentina international is set to Gianluigi Donnarumma’s understudy at Manchester City following James Trafford’s departure for Leeds United. Rulli is set to cost Enzo Maresca’s Cityzens close to €3,5m.
Rulli’s exit leaves a big void to fill in Bruno Genesio’s squad. L’Equipe reports that Marseille have made progress in their quest to find their new No. 1 goalkeeper. In the last few days, OM have identified Marcin Bulka as Rulli’s replacement. The Pole has a vast experience of Ligue 1 football. He has been OGC Nice’s starter for three seasons, between 2022 and 2025.
Bulka has only made his return to action a couple of months ago after tearing an ACL during a training session with Neom in September. L’Equipe adds that Marseille have submitted a loan offer to their SPL counterparts.
